The Allocate Seats feature in Dormefy allows dorm managers to assign a seat to a member once they have been onboarded. Managers can select the seat, assign it to a member, and set the Rent Active Date. The feature also provides a summary of seat availability, showing the total number of seats, available seats, and booked seats. In addition, managers can reassign or delete seat allocations as needed, making dorm seat management simple and efficient.

How to Allocate a Seat to a Member: #

Step-by-Step Setup: #

1. Log in to Dormefy:
   Access Dormefy using the web or Android app.
2. Navigate to Seat Allocation:
   From the left sidebar, click Dormitory > Seat Allocation.
3. Allocate a Seat:
   Click the Allocate Seat button. Select a seat from the dropdown list, choose the member to assign the seat to, and pick the Rent Active Date.
4. Finalize Allocation:
   Click the Allocate Now button. The seat will be instantly allocated to the member, and the allocation will appear in the Seat Allocation list.
5. View Seat Stats:
   On the Seat Allocation page, you can view the status of all seats, including the total number of seats, available seats, and booked seats.
6. Member Seat View:
   The allocated member can see their seat ID or name displayed in their dashboard.
