The Fixed Meal Rate feature enables dorm owners or managers to set a fixed cost per meal (e.g., $45 per meal). This predefined rate simplifies the dorm’s meal cost calculation system, ensuring consistency and ease of management. Once the rate is configured, it is displayed on both the member and manager dashboards, providing transparency and clarity.

How to Set the Fixed Meal Rate: #

1. In the Dormefy Admin Dashboard, go to the Dormitory option in the left sidebar.
2. Select Dorm List and find the dorm you want to configure.
3. Click the Edit button for the desired dorm.
4. In the settings page, locate the option to Enable Fixed Meal Rate and select Yes.
5. Once enabled, a field labeled Set Fixed Meal Rate Amount will appear. Enter the predefined meal rate (e.g., 45).
6. Click Update to save the configuration.

After completing these steps, the fixed meal rate will be active and displayed on the finance section of both the manager and member dashboards.
