Hello world! 👋 I’m Rakib, the Founder of Dormefy, and I’m excited to introduce our web app solution to the entire resident community! As a tech enthusiast and Motion Designer, my journey has taken me through over 15 years of dormitory living for both study and professional work. During this time, I’ve encountered countless challenges—from finding the right dorm to managing meals and ensuring a healthy living environment. These processes were often manual, time-consuming, and filled with unnecessary hassles. The Journey to Dormefy began here.
The Birth of Dormefy
Over the years, I often found myself in managerial roles, focused on improving the living experience for others. Tasks like shopping, meal planning, and seat rent collection became second nature to me. However, these responsibilities also made me acutely aware of the inefficiencies in dorm management. After years of dealing with these challenges firsthand, The Journey to Dormefy was clear. I realized it was time to create a solution that would simplify dorm life.
I discussed this idea with the brilliant mind behind Dormefy, my Co-Founder, M A Kuddus Munsi. I managed to convince him to join forces and tackle these issues together. Fortunately, he agreed and aligned with the goal, and we began working on a solution. The Journey to Dormefy continued with both of us on board.
